Pollard Productions began in 2000 by creating President for a Day (see www.PresidentForADay.org) – an educational computer game for use in secondary schools.

Immediately upon release this was selected by Bett as one of the top five secondary school products of the year and it continues to sell well for its publisher - The Damaris Trust

President for a Day was a simple one-off bespoke product designed to meet a particular set of learning objectives. This product showed (and continues to show) the value of such immersive game-like Virtual Learning Environments (VLE). But it also highlighted the need for us to create much more complex VLEs that can be uniquely customised to specific requirements and a broad range of learning objectives. Therefore we set about creating “VLE engines” into which we can place different content and thus create unique products for our customers.

Currently we offer two such VLE engines – NewsDesk and p://rev.
